The host were welcoming and friendly. The room we had was amazing big comfortable and the bed was comfy great sleep
First of all, I just want to thank Annette, Paul and family once again for a lovely long weekend. Bekha and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Superior King Room, in your stunning 18th Century Home. The location is lovely, very quiet no fuss area, surrounded by open untainted countryside. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming and very family oriented. The food is lovely, Paul's fresh cooked breakfasts are available daily and he makes a killer fried egg, as well as a selection of fruits and cereals, with tea, coffee and fresh juices on the ready. We really enjoyed our Murder Mystery night, and Christmas Style Dinner. All members of staff/family are incredibly friendly, made us feel welcome and very much at home. I feel the cost paid for what we received was great value for money. Prompt friendly service at all times, all were very attentive to our needs and wants, room was cleaned daily to a lovely standard. No waiting times endured at any point, quick and on point throughout our stay, going above and beyond. We will be back again in the future, thank you and have a lovely Christmas.
We used the venue for a work conference so that we could all meet away from the office. Staff were great and prepared everything for our arrival and we had the place to ourselves. We had lunch during the day and the homemade lasagne was delicious
A lovely period house with a very friendly welcome. An ideal location if you're visiting any of the other nearby wedding venues, or simply somewhere to spend a lovely couple of nights. Decorated in period style. Comfy, clean and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Highly recommend. And you get to meet the two pooches who live there too!
Enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay. Accommodation excellent and very comfortable. Breakfast and our evening meals were 1st class . Family run hotel in beautiful grounds . Loved meeting all the family of 4 generations. Thank you for making us so welcome.
We have stayed in many hotels in the area but none like this. It has an atmosphere like being at home when you step through the main doors. We were greeted by the owner who showed us to our room. It was huge and had every thing you could want in a room. The food was excellent and the bar was well stocked. The decor was mostly original and added to the ambiance to the place. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
We booked the St Nicholas guest house for two nights. The house has a warm family feel to it Emma and Paul are excellent hosts and made our family meeting occasion special. The Sunday lunch for our large family was delicious and served by very nice polite staff. Breakfast is equally good. We will be staying here again. Highly recommend.
